SCOTTISH DANCE

Scottish Dancing is a fast, energetic and fun way to stay fit, developing high levels of:


  • coordination
  • balance
  • strength
  • flexibility
  • endurance

Highland Dances such as 'The Highland Fling' and 'The Sword dance' demand high levels of agility, giving the dancer a great challenge and are very alluring for the audience to watch. Dances such as ‘Strip the Willow’ and the 'Dashing White Sergeant’ can be quickly learned and danced by anyone of any age, traditionally at Ceilidhs, weddings and parties.
